You might be asking....What is The Wytch's Mirror? Books and book reviews absolutely and more of me with poetry, articles, and prompts. You can also visit www.wytchsmirror.com and you can contact me by email. There are social links in the side bar and you are very welcome to follow and friend me.
The Wytch's Mirror was created in November 2010 as a medium to become acquainted with new authors and their incredible works, as well as to familiarize myself with self publishing. Writing book reviews seemed the perfect outlet, and it very well has been.
Currently I am working on my first book titled HOW THE DRAGON BLEEDS.

| Graphic by Cynthia Jones inspired by Picasso's Girl Reading created for Giving Words. |
I designed the above graphic in 2007 inspired by Pablo Picasso's Girl Reading and during that year I opened a web site award program, Giving Words, to credit the creative mind and authors of creative websites that showcased their art, be it visual or the written word.
My motto for Giving Words was promote, encourage, and raise awareness. I lost my domain name in 2011. The company that held my domain was hacked, had some issues and then was sold. In all of that, the end result was that I lost my domain name, who ever was right or wrong, the point is I did not intentionally allow my domain to expire.
Giving Words award program had been closed for some time prior to actually losing the domain name, however I kept the winners listed with individual pages and links to their work. It was sad to lose those connections. While I no longer hold that domain name, I have held onto the reasons that led me to Giving Words and should be continued here at The Wytch's Mirror.
My favorite genres to read are paranormal, fantasy, horror and romance. A mix of these in one story is great. I am also open to other genres and I am always thrilled to promote an author when I am asked.
I share my reviews at Smashwords, Amazon, BN, Goodreads, Twitter, and Facebook
I love real books and nothing will ever truly replace them, however times are changing and the way an author can get their works read is rapidly growing towards digital ebooks, and self publishing. I am excited about that!
I read from my Nook a lot and I prefer an EPUB format for my ebooks, I will accept a PDF.
Sometimes, my reads will come from my own shelves being books or ebooks that I purchased or have won in giveaways. I try to borrow books from the library as often as possible, and sometimes authors provide me a copy of their work in exchange for a review. I also borrow gallies at Netgalley.
