Ruthi Reads! WoW Weekly 100 Words 02.2.11

WOW WEEKLY 100 WORDSThis week feels a bit like a re-run of last. Even as my reading falls further behind, the books of intrigue keep finding me and I keep adding to my TBR list. Some say crazy, I say magnificent! It is absolutely thrilling to have so much that I really want to read that I can't keep up! (I'm also grateful for extensions hehehe) Even if I'm foolish to think so, my challenges are still within sight (somewhat) and I'm having a blast!

Now if I can just stop drooling over the stuff I want to read and get busy with what's in front of me :)

My 100 Words from  Shiver (Wolves of Mercy Falls) by Maggie Stiefvater

I rolled in my bed toward where he lay on the floor dark bundle curled in a nest of blankets and pillows. His presence, so strange and wonderful, seemed o fill the room and press against me. I didn’t think I’d ever sleep again. “No.”
“Can I ask you a question?’
“You already have.”
He paused, considering. “Can I ask you two questions, then?”
“You already have.”
Sam groaned and threw one of the small sofa pillows in my direction. It arced through the moonlit room, a blackened projectile, and thumped harmlessly by my head. “So you’re a smart-ass, then?”

This was great, Cynthia! I liked the 100 Words/personal bit combo! Though, I must say, from that last bit of dialogue I feel like I've been dubbed a smart-ass, hahaha! Another great share from "Shiver"--thank you!

I had to stop and think about what you meant LOL You had me baffled.

This really is a good book, my attention is just all over the place like a little hyper bug coming out dormancy. You know I'm thinking of a lot, the weather, and getting outside!

and the words chosen were in no way directed to you :)I just like to cuss now and then LOL

Great teaser - I like the smart-ass comment, too! I've been known to be one of those at times, but all in good fun... this looks like a great book! http://www.southernfiberreads.com/2011/02/wondrous-words-and-wow-100-words.html
